Financial Assistance, Scholarships and Awards
P.E.O. financial assistance, scholarships and awards require the applicant to be sponsored by a local chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood (with the exception of the International Peace Scholarship). Learn more about each philanthropy and how to request information by clicking on the links below.
The Manitoba P.E.O. Foundation
The Manitoba P.E.O. Foundation, established in 1988, provides educational and charitable grants to qualified women who desire higher education and are in need of financial assistance. All applicants must be recommended by a local chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
The maximum education grant amount is $2,000.00. Grants are issued twice annually, on June 15th and November 15th. Lesser amounts may be awarded based on funds available in the current year’s grant budget and applicants’ individual needs.
